Meet The Staff
Brian M. Garrett
:: Head Golf Professional/General Manager
Head Golf Professional/General Manager Brian began his golf career as cart staff at the Muncie Elks Country Club in Muncie, Indiana under PGA Professional Brian Hill. As a junior golfer he played on the IGA Junior Tours and several state amateur events. Brian is a 2001 graduate of Anderson University (Anderson, IN) where he majored in Political Science and History. Brian was also a four year member of the Anderson University Men's Golf program, before turning pro in 2002. Brian has been with RN Thompson Golf for six years at both Eagle Pointe Golf Resort in Bloomington, Indiana and Keys Gate Golf Club in Homestead, Florida. Brian moved to Southern Dunes in 2003 where he worked under PGA Professional David Miner. Brian is currently a Level III Apprentice in the PGA PGM program and will be fulfilling his requirements for PGA Membership in early 2009. We are very excited to have Brian as a member of our team.
Joe Sullivan
:: Superintendant
Superintendant

Joe Sullivan started his career in 1983 as Head Superintendent at Eagle Creek Golf Course. In 1991 Joe moved to Seymour Elks. In 1993 Joe moved to Hanging Tree Golf Club and was there until 2002 when he came to Southern Dunes. Joe brings with him the certification of CGCS. Joe is a member of the GCSAA and the IGSA. We are very excited to have Joe Sullivan on our staff.


 


 


 
Connie Wright
:: Sales Director/Special Event Coordinator
Sales Director/Special Event Coordinator Connie is now in her third year at Southern Dunes Golf Course. Her second full year as event coordinator. Whether it be a wedding, party or class reunion she will be pleased to help you with your event. We are thrilled to have Connie as a member of the Southern Dunes family. Robert Homan
:: Chef/Kitchen Manager
Chef/Kitchen Manager Robert joins us with 25 years experience in the Food Service Industry which includes stints at Sara Bay Country Club in Sarasota, Florida, Airport Marina also in Sarasota. Chef Bobb-O also served at La Berge do von Vovunt on Longboat Key in Florida. Chef Bob-O's specializes in Steak and Seafood. "Chef Bobb-O" joined the Southern Dunes Golf Course staff in June of 2005. We are pleased to have "Chef Bobb-O" as a member of our team. Chef Bob-O is Serv Safe Certified.
